Inpatient rehabilitation programs are designed to benefit individuals with diagnoses such as:
- Stroke
- Joint Replacement
- Hip Fracture
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Amputation
- Brain Injury
- Neurological Conditions (such as MS or Parkinson's)
- Multiple Trauma
To be considered for admission to RHOW, patients must meet the following inpatient rehabilitation criteria:
- Must be medically stable
- Able to tolerate three hours per day of therapy (physical, occupational, and speech) immediately or soon after admission
- Require 24-hour nursing care and intensive level of at least two types of therapy (physical, occupational, or speech)
- Goal to return to community living situation and functional independence
- Physician and insurance approval
